|Hello my dear friend,|
As I was getting ready to write this email, I had the thought that over the past year I have shared many ideas that you can implement to see if it is just what you need to boost you to that next level or to give you a different viewpoint. I want to stress here that you don’t have to do everything I have recommended. That may be exhausting. I do not do everything I share with you. However, I do pick and choose those I want to try and many of the ideas have become a part of my daily routine and a positive change in my life.
With that being said, I came across a sleep well journal. These sleep well recommendations are from Alex Miller.
Place your mind on these questions then your head on the pillow…
Here are the journaling questions:
1-Complete the following sentence, “Right now I am…” then complete this sentence, “Right now I choose to be…”
2-List 3 things that went well today.
3-List 3 things that made you laugh today!
4-List 2 things you wish you had done differently.
5-Write down a positive affirmation 3 times (the same affirmation).Need some inspiration? Here are a few suggestions:
I am enough.
I am strong, I am beautiful, I am wise.
I welcome challenges into my life.
I face my fears head-on.
I release my fear of change.
I have the courage to be vulnerable.
I am free of disease and illness.
I care for my body and my body cares for me.
6-Write yourself a love letter, or look yourself in the eye in the mirror and tell yourself you love you.
7-List 3 things you are grateful for.
8-Write down 3 things that would make tomorrow great!
9-Write down the name of a friend who you haven’t spoken to in a while that you will call tomorrow. Add a few key points you want to say to this person to make them feel thought of and loved.
10-Write down your current emotions like a grocery list, then close your journal and put the emotions away for the night.
May your dreams be pleasant, your nights full of restful sleep, and your days filled with joy!
Much love and gratitude! Janalee
