The Sacral Chakra

Hello friends,

In studying about the chakras, I am learning that in this time in the world ‘s history, we as humans are transitioning between old and new chakra energy. “The old energy influenced what used to be the norm for the experience of humanity. The new energy is what we are coming into experiencing individually and as a humanity. In this transition, our chakra energy systems are getting “turned on,” whether each of us choose into it or not. This shift causes change that can feel uncomfortable and unfamiliar if you don’t consciously know what is going on…You can choose to become a conscious manager of your own energy system so that the energetic transition doesn’t manage you.” (The Modern Chakra Guide, Carol Tuttle, p. 49). We live in a topsy, turvy world where a lot of things aren’t making sense right now so being in tune to our chakras can be a source of comfort and calm.

This email will cover the 2nd chakra, known as The Sacral Chakra. According to ByHealingthroughvisions.com, the Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana) is associated with Tuesday because “Tuesday is about embracing creativity, emotions, and maybe even a bit of spontaneity. By focusing on the Sacral Chakra, we can harness the passionate and creative urges that this day offers” (ByHealingthroughvisions.com.) This chakra, located in the pelvic region, a couple of inches below the belly button, is the foundation of self-awareness, creativity, procreation, and passion’s energy.

The Sacral Chakra or “the place of self” is all about our creativity and passion, helping each of us to truly enjoy being a part of this wonderful earth and an individual in the sea of humanity. Don’t be afraid of experiencing those things that you truly relish, like good food, artistic activities, intimacy, and creative endeavors. When you can recognize the power of this chakra, you truly can become the creative director of your own life.

Strive to find JOY in each day!

Roxanne
