I wanted to share a very important (and free!) tip for you to improve your quality of life.

Walking!

More specifically, walking daily. Studies have shown that walking just 30 minutes a day can reduce your risk of early death by 16 to 30 percent.

Unlike a lot of other forms of exercise, walking is free and doesn’t require special equipment or training. Getting more physical activity in your life doesn’t have to be strenuous to improve your health!

Other benefits to walking daily?

1. Improves your quality of sleep.
2. Speeds up your digestion.
3. Improves your mood.
4. Reduces risk of chronic diseases 5. Improves heart health.
6. Increases life longevity.
7. Strengthens muscle and bones.

If you want to add more walking into your life, but you don’t know where to begin:

Start by taking the stairs instead of the elevator.

Start by parking further away from the grocery store entrance.

Start by taking a walk after each meal (remember, it helps speed up your digestion and lowers your blood sugar levels.!).

Start by going for a walk in the morning before you begin work.

Start by starting, and it will eventually turn into a habit.
