Back to School Immunity!

We have finally reached back to school! I’m sure many of you are excited to get back into a routine, and I’m sure many of you are sad. Although school is a great place to learn, with the seasons changing and others sending their own children to school sick, we have to start being more cautious and aware of our immune system.
Instead of keeping everyone indoors and boycotting public areas, we could help build our immune systems through some amazing supplements!
The first supplement we would recommend to help build a healthy and stronger immune system is….Vitamin C! The human body REQUIRES Vitamin C to perform essential functions, but our bodies can’t produce it on its own. A while back I read a study stating that 33% of Americans were deficient in Vitamin C…that means one in every three people are deficient.

Kiwi
Bell peppers
Citrus fruits.
There are plenty of ways to move away from Vitamin C deficiency!
Another supplement we would recommend is…Zinc! Zinc helps keep our immune systems strong! It will support our body’s ability to fight off bacteria and viruses, and it is important in the growth of immune cells!
