“Welcome Back”

As I contemplated writing an email for Beeing Well this week, the words “Welcome Back” kept popping into my mind sooo….. Here we go!
Welcome back is typically said to someone coming back to somewhere they have been before. The length of time between the last visit and this one will vary, but what might be more important is those things and events that have transpired between visits. Those “life events” change us and who we are. They change our perceptions, expectations, and even the direction we may go in the future.
Over the last month I have had the opportunity to experience and participate in a few different welcome back events:
A grandson and sister-in-law returning from service missions for their church
A trip to Colorado to visit my daughter and her family
A client that I haven’t seen for some time scheduling an appointment
Being welcomed back to school
Welcoming back loved ones after life threatening events
For me, there is another common thread in “welcome back” and that is COMMUNITY!
It is family, friends, school teachers, peers, bus drivers, co-workers, medical personnel, neighbors, or even bystanders. Every one of us benefits from being in COMMUNITY with one another. Together we are stronger, together we can accomplish more, together we can be better, and together we can raise each other up!!!
Come experience Beeing Well and let us “welcome you back” on your journey to health and well being.
