Who Will Care for You? Let’s Talk About It

We all want to live happy, healthy, independent lives for as long as possible, right?!
But what happens if you (or someone you love) ever needs a little extra help?
Do you know what your insurance or Medicare actually covers when it comes to extended care?
And have you ever thought about what life might look like if you couldn’t do a few of your everyday activities on your own?
Here’s what we mean when we say the 6 Activities of Daily Living (ADLs):
Bathing – Taking a shower or bath
Dressing – Putting on and taking off clothing
Eating – Getting food into your body
Toileting – Getting to and from the bathroom and staying clean
Transferring – Moving in or out of bed, a chair, or wheelchair
Continence – Maintaining control of bowel and bladder functions
Of course, we hope you continue to live the life you love for many years to come!
But planning ahead now can make any future changes feel a lot easier for you and for those who care about you most.
That’s why we’re hosting FREE seminars to help you understand your options and discover simple ways to prepare for the future with less stress and more confidence.
We’d love for you to join us in person or on zoom this Saturday, November 8th at 10:00 AM in the classroom at Beeing Well. If you can’t make it on Saturday, plan to join our online zoom class on Tuesday, November 11th at 6:00 PM.
There will be great info, friendly faces, and helpful conversation. You’ll be glad you came!
