Rose-Colored Glasses

Hello happy friends!
Dave Blanchard, acclaimed best-selling author of an amazing book called The Observer’s Chair, has written, “As humans, we have been given a unique gift, the ability to step back and become aware of our unhealthy habits of thinking – we can become the Observer of our thoughts. This process is called metacognition.” In other words, we can stop and reflect on our own thinking and choose to change the way we think.
I love this concept! It is almost as if Dave Blanchard has reached into my heart and is giving me permission and encouraging me to continue my quest, my quest and mission to help others be courageous, think positively, and seek joy! I have been shamed nearly most of my life for believing that we can create our best life through positive thought and inspired action. I’ve been accused by some friends and family members of having a Pollyanna complex, someone who is overly optimistic or finding good in everything, seeing the world through rose-colored glasses.
So today, after completing my book reading assignment at Beeing Well, I encourage all of you to try it! Take a moment and look through rose-colored glasses. What can you choose to think, what can you do, or what can you say to yourself that will help you experience more success, more happiness, and more joy in your journey?
And, if you’d like encouragement and support, please reach out to us. We are happy to help you! It is our goal to serve you so that you may experience Beeing Well.
Wishing you much JOY and abundance-
Kaylene
